This stunning Colocasia ‘Waikiki’ originates from plant hybridizer, Dr. John Cho, retired Emeritus Plant Pathologist from the University of Hawaii. ‘Waikiki’ is part of the Royal Hawaiian® series. The leaves emerge green and develop a wide white central vein with a purple dot in the center. As the leaves mature, the purple expands into the veins and creates a sensational foliage display in the garden. ‘Waikiki’ is an attractive container plant that reaches 36-42” tall with deep purple stems and showy leaves. Grow in full to partial sun and moist soil. ‘Waikiki’ was chosen as the first Colocasia winner in the All-America Selections for 2023.

They can be grown in water or at the water's edge. • For container and garden planting keep evenly moist.• In winter, tubers can be dug and stored in a basement, keeping some moisture around the root.
