We grow ours in a 45°greenhouse in the winter where it produces fruit year-round but it tolerates 80° temperatures in summer. Although it is a bit of a rambling vine, a little pruning from time to time keeps it a manageable size. Grow in well-drained soil in partial to full sun and watch the velvety heart-shaped leaves fill out with fruit in one season.
