It also produces large corn cob-like, edible fruit that’s 8-10” long called breadfruit that ripens to a sweet pineapple flesh. In the aroid family, it produces impressive flowers with a white hood like other spaths. Monstera deliciosa was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Merit. This is a plant in a 6” pot.
